Ideal For: Families, casual anglers, and groups wanting more time on the water This 6-hour trip offers the perfect balance of fishing action and time flexibility. Explore OBX’s productive inshore waters and enjoy targeting species such as speckled trout, puppy drum, flounder (seasonal), bluefish, and more. It’s a highly productive option for both new and experienced anglers. Our main season runs April 1–November 1, but we’re happy to arrange off-season trips by appointment. Kingfisher Charters departs from Wanchese Marina, 4457 Mill Landing Rd, Wanchese, NC 27981. Captain Ryan will personally contact you the day before your charter with your slip location, arrival time, and final details to ensure a smooth start to your day. Charters operate rain or shine unless conditions are deemed unsafe. If weather conditions require a change, Captain Ryan will contact you within 24 hours of your scheduled trip to discuss options or arrange an alternate date.
Cancellation Policy
Deposits are refundable up to two weeks prior to your scheduled charter. If you cancel within two weeks of your trip, only your deposit will be charged—not the full charter amount. Same-day cancellations may be charged up to the full cost of the trip at the Captain’s discretion.
